A corner of the factory:
Two misconceptions about stainless steel:
1. As long as it is stainless steel, it will not rust. In fact, the claim that stainless steel does not rust is relative. Any stainless steel will rust in any environment, but there is a significant difference in the corrosion resistance of different grades of stainless steel. For example, 316 stainless steel is far more corrosion-resistant than ferrite stainless steel, stainless iron, and even electroplated products. The high-quality stainless steel we refer to usually means austenitic stainless steel with a nickel content of >8%, which is the acid-resistant grade of stainless steel.
2. Stainless steel with magnetism is good stainless steel. Good stainless steel must have low magnetism, but stainless steel with low magnetism may not necessarily be good stainless steel. For example, the domestic 200 series stainless steel 201 and 202 have almost no magnetism, but their corrosion resistance is far inferior to that of the 300 series 304, 321, and 316. They are usually only used in indoor environments where high performance is not required.
